Chandler, AZ (June 28, 2017) – The Chandler Compadres held an event yesterday in downtown Chandler to distribute over $800,000 in funds to local nonprofit organizations. The Chandler Compadres were established in 1980 as a non-profit organization with the sole mission of providing support for East Valley families in need. The group works throughout the year to raise funds through their annual Rock the Cause event in the fall, spring golf tournament and tax credit campaign. Funds are then distributed to applying East Valley nonprofits that serve youth and families in need. This year’s distribution is a record amount for the organization.

Funds were distributed to the following nonprofits:

“This has been a banner year for the Compadres’ fundraising efforts,” stated Jeremey Stawiecki, President of the Chandler Compadres. “Our membership put forth a tremendous amount of volunteer time and effort to ensure that youth and families in Chandler and the East Valley can access the services they need.”
